Three nights at a 4-star Exmoor farmhouse with two full days and a half-day on the moor, hacking, dressage and groundwork in one of England's finest riding landscapes.
Based at Emmetts Grange, a 4-star farmhouse on the edge of Exmoor National Park, this three-night break gives you two full days plus a half day in the saddle across some of the most varied riding country in England. The moor stretches out from the door: open ridge riding, valley tracks, wooded combes and quiet lanes connecting Simonsbath to the coast twenty miles away. Days are built around your level and what you want to work on, hacking across the moor, schooling in the indoor arena, groundwork or a combination. The setting is relaxed rather than regimented. Emmetts Grange sleeps up to eight across five bedrooms, with a separate holiday cottage sleeping four next door. Horses are stabled on site, with paddock turnout included in the price. Arrival from 4pm on day one; riding starts on day two.
