The Beacons Explorer is a four-day loop ride through the Brecon Beacons, starting and finishing near the Trans Wales base at Talgarth. Unlike the coast-to-coast trails, this is a circular route, ideal for those who want a full multi-day experience without the logistical commitment of a point-to-point crossing. Four days of riding covers the Black Mountains, the high Beacons plateau, Pen y Fan approaches and the quieter valleys and market towns of mid-Powys. Horses are registered Welsh Section D Cobs. Accommodation and all meals are included at inns and guest houses along the route, with luggage transferred daily.
