About this yard

Camden Equestrian Centre is a specialist harness racing and standardbred stud facility set on 27 acres at Nun Monkton near York. In operation since 2007, it is home to the Camden Standard Bred Stud and the York Harness Raceway, hosting some of the most prestigious races in the British Harness Racing Club (BHRC) calendar. The track has been described as one of the best harness racing facilities in the country. The flagship 70×55m outdoor arena features a top-quality fibre and silica sand surface with a judges' box and full fencing. A 40×40m secondary arena and a half-mile all-weather training track complete the competition infrastructure. Up to 60 stables are available for hire with 24-hour security and bedding provided. The harness racing season runs April to October.
