About this yard

Marros Riding Centre is a family-run centre set on 140 acres including 15 acres of ancient woodland, on the Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire border near Pendine. BHS, ABRS, WTRA and Pony Club approved with 34 licensed horses and ponies for all sizes and levels.

Four main ride types: Woodland Treks through the private ancient forest; Sea View Treks with views over Carmarthen Bay; a two-hour Beach Ride to Marros Sands for riders aged 16 and over who can gallop, assessed en route; and a one-hour beginner lesson and woodland introduction. The beach ride runs a maximum of 4 riders and is strictly for experienced, confident gallopers, the centre reserves the right not to take riders onto the beach if assessed as not up to standard.

Also on offer: Own-a-Pony Days, toddler rides, birthday parties, RDA sessions and equine facilitated learning. Indoor school, outdoor arena, café and gift shop on site. Online booking via EC Pro.
