Mountain View Horse Riding Centre near Doolin in County Clare runs trail rides through woodlands, up the hills of Slieve Elva, and along quiet green roads into the Burren. Treks reach over 1,200 feet above the Atlantic with panoramic views of the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands and the Connemara Mountains.

Located 10 minutes from Doolin, the world-famous traditional music village and the shortest Aran Islands ferry crossing. Strong fit for combining a Burren and Wild Atlantic Way itinerary with riding.

Pricing

Family-run, owner Peter and team at Poulnagun, Lisdoonvarna (V95 XR53). 1-3 hour trail rides with Burren green roads, Slieve Elva, Cliffs of Moher views. 4hr beach trek €150. Full day 6hr beach with lunch. Min 1, max 10 riders per group. Helmet and half chaps provided.
