Equestrian Venues in Hampshire

Hampshire's equestrian offer is shaped by the New Forest National Park, where free-roaming New Forest ponies have shared bridleways with riders for centuries. The Forest provides hundreds of miles of legal riding on open heathland, woodland tracks and river paths, a riding landscape with few equivalents in southern England. Beyond the Forest, the Test Valley and chalk downland south of Basingstoke support strong affiliated dressage and jumping circuits. Venues along the A303 corridor and the M27 corridor serve Winchester, Southampton and Fareham, while the New Forest fringe around Fordingbridge, Ringwood and Burley concentrates some of the county's most established trekking and livery operations.
