About this yard

Arniss Equestrian is a BHS approved riding school on a 50-acre farm near Godshill, on the edge of the New Forest National Park. The yard has direct access to the national park without crossing any public roads, one of the few centres in southern England where you can ride out into open forest straight from the gate.

The centre offers riding lessons, hacks and training days for riders of all ages and abilities, from age 4 upwards. Beginner riders are assessed before heading out, and all hacks are guided by experienced staff who know the forest routes well. Riders are matched to a suitable horse, and the pace is adapted to the group.

Holiday activities run throughout the school year, and the yard also organises parties for children and adults, hen and stag events, and team-building days. Gift vouchers are available.
