About this yard

Tal y Foel Riding Centre sits at Dwyran on the southern tip of Anglesey, on the edge of the Menai Strait with views across the water to Caernarfon Castle and the Snowdonia mountains. Rides go from the farm directly to the straits shoreline, the combined backdrop of medieval castle, tidal water and mountain range is unlike anything else available on horseback in Wales.

The centre caters for local riders and holiday visitors, with programmes tailored to all standards across five miles of private traffic-free bridleways. Beach rides are for experienced riders who can walk, trot and canter competently, subject to tides. An indoor school, outdoor manège with showjumps and a cross-country course cover lessons in all weathers. Young people's days run in summer covering horsemanship, grooming and riding.
