About this yard

Established in 1972 by the late Judy Forrest BHSAI, Tower Farm is now run by her daughter Caroline Buckle BHSII and is one of Edinburgh's longest-established and most comprehensively approved riding centres. Triple approved by the BHS, ABRS and TRSS, the yard has horses and ponies from 11hh to 17hh covering all standards from beginner to competition level.

The school has direct access to scenic rides around the Braid Hills Golf Course with views across Edinburgh to the Pentlands, Arthur's Seat and the Forth Bridges. Beach rides, own-a-pony days, lessons, ride-outs and livery are all on offer. Tower Farm is a registered BHS exam centre for Stage 1–3 qualifications and hosts clinics with visiting trainers including Andrew Hamilton and Karen Carson. All bookings are through ECpro.
